If not, no worries – our professional painters know how to assess a home and advise you on what’s going to maximize the visual appeal of your space. We’re able to use your preferred paint brand or we have some recommendations if you don’t have one selected. If you have absolutely no idea what colors you’d like, we always have a range of ideas for any job and can assist you choose the best look for your home.
Painting Preparation
So often painting companies overlook, neglect, or simply don’t offer proper painting preparation services. Preparing a space for painting has a direct impact no the quality and longevity of the work. Taking the time to properly plan and prepare a space can save you time and money down the road having to re-do the job.
Without a doubt, the preparation that goes into a painting job is the most crucial part of any painting job. Without making proper preparation, the overall visual and integral quality of your painting job will suffer.
At Surrey Painters every paint job receives the following as part of our standard practices:
- Comprehensive quality analysis to gauge what needs to be done for a specific job
- Putting and plaster for any areas of abrasion and damage your walls or surfaces may have.
- -Sanding or washing of any surfaces prior to application of painting
Power Washing
There are many instances when a full power washing job will need to be done in order to make sure there is no debris on any of the surfaces prior to painting. We simply cannot paint over spiders webs, leaves, sticks and whatever else is stuck to the exterior of the building. We offer a power washing service if there is sufficient need for us to do so. We ensure there is no damage to your home during the power washing process.
Full Service Painting
When the actual application of paint can be made we begin by setting up the proper equipment for safety and damage prevention of carpets, floors and other furniture. Unless there is a rare instance, we will perform the application of a minimum of 2 coats of paint to your surfaces to ensure best visual quality and paint life span.
